1. Aphrodite's Magic Girdle-had the ability to arouse desire and create a hunger for love. It was so effective that whomever she desired would fall in love with her. It is said that one time Hera used this to win back Zeus' affections.
2. Apollo's Lyre-a lyre is a Greek musical instrument with seven strings. Given to him by Hermes, Apollo also taught mortals how to play.
3. Ares' Ancile-large bronze age figure 8 shield. This was seen as a great symbol of reverence and luck.
4. Asclepius' Caduceus-this is the traditional symbol for medicine. This has twin snakes around the staff and twin wings at the top.
5. Athena's Aegis-snake fringed shield/armor that had Medusa's head in the center. It is said that the wearer of this would become invincible.
6. Hade's Helmet-magical helmet bestowed to him by the cyclopes, which would make the wearer invisible. This was lent to many heroes and gods, but the most famous of which is Perseus in his slaying of the gorgon Medusa.
7. Zeus' thunderbolts-wielded mightily form Mount Olympus. The cyclopes made these for Zeus as a gift for setting them free. Those who sought to steal them suffered terrible fates.
