Deployment Commands
The Roman army was marked by flexibility, discipline, and cohesion. Different formations were assumed according to different tactical situations.
~Repellere equites-to repel cavalry
~Eicere pila-to hurl the pila
~Cuneum formate-the wedge formation
~Contendite vestra sponte-the legionaries formed an agressive stance and attacked every opponent they faced.
~Orbem formate-the orb formation
~Ciringite frontem-hold your position
~Frontem allargate-scattered formation
~Testudinem formate-the turtle formation
~Agmen formate-the square formation
